Residential Learning

Our residential training courses embrace a true collegiate spirit, consisting of lectures, interactive working groups, real-life clinical case discussions, role playing and quizzes. The face-to-face PentaTr@ining workshops are led by our experienced international faculty, including authors and tutors of our online training courses, as well as local and regional leading experts in their field. Moreover, all delegates are strongly encouraged to bring with them clinical cases from their own professional experience to share and discuss with the faculty and other students during the course. Our courses are purposefully structured in a way that maximises teacher/student interaction, encourages delegates to be proactive participants and consolidates the knowledge they will have acquired during the online course.

The PentaTr@ining 2022: HIV & other Congenital Infections hybrid residential workshop was held on 28-30 September, 2022 at the historic venue of Pontificia Università Urbaniana in Rome, Italy. We are happy to report the course was a wonderful success, with some fantastic case discussions and talks from our expert panel – as well as new networking links formed. We are thrilled to be getting back to face-to-face and hybrid training modes as we now emerge from the last few years of COVID-19 lockdowns. A certificate of participation was issued to all attendees on completion of the course

Our flagship hybrid programme comprises 6 in-depth, topical and thought-provoking online training modules on the management of HIV and congenital infections in the paediatric setting. The course boasts an innovative variety of real-life clinical cases for discussion, live ‘Ask the Expert’ webinars and dedicated tutoring from our panel of expert trainers. All this is complemented by a comprehensive face-to-face workshop in Padua, Italy.
